Location
The 3 Achilleas Villas were erected on a terraced slope aside the village of Scaleta and completed in springtime, 2006.
|
Scaleta
is the easternmost of the villages along the bay of Rethymnon.
It lies above the National Road which here runs some 200 meters South of the coast from Rethymnon (12 kms) to Iraklion (71 kms).
On both sides of the National Road and further down to the beach there are one bigger and several smaller hotels.

Between them there are restaurants, bars, discotheques, supermarkets and other shops, and on the beach there are several beach bars.
There is an hourly public bus service in both directions, during the season every 30 minutes.
Iraklion airport is 79 kms away, Hania airport 82 kms. With respect to the National Road's winding character, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
